Sept 25 Germania

This finally happened… HURRAY!!!

I finally was able to get together for a ride with two of the most beautiful ladies I have been so blessed to have met. I met both of them while contracting for Weasler Engineering and Alliance Laundry Systems and found out we share the same love for motorcycle adventures. So it was about time we did this!

Although it was a bit on the chilly side at times today, it turned out to be a gorgeous day for a ride.

Nancy met me at my place around 11:30 with plans to meet Kari in Rosendale around noon. I had planned a route to take mostly back roads and to Germania for lunch at the Longbranch Saloon, and no, I did not have one of their infamous hippo burgers. Just a regular cheeseburger, which was plenty good I might add.

I was hoping to find some sandhill cranes gathering, as I usually do this time of year around Cty J east of Princeton, but no such luck. Only saw several flying overhead in that area. We also had to make a couple of pit stops after Princeton, one near the Mecan River, so that I could take some photos.

We had such a lovely time and I wish we could have riden even longer today; however, Nancy had to make it back to Random Lake and I for sure didn’t want her doing so at dusk. She already mentioned she seen a few deer on her way to my place, and I had to scare a doe off of the shoulder of the road outside of Princeton.

I sure hope to get the opportunity to do more of this with these two gems!!!
