Kevin and I had planned to ride today after I finished helping my Sista with highway clean up in Jackson. I didn’t get back to town until around noon. While helping with the highway clean up it sprinkled a bit, but was extremely windy.
I knew it was going to be 30-40 mph wind gusts out of the SW, so I planned the route to head mostly directly into it and taking some back roads we have never been on before to Keyeser. Well, by the time we got just south of Oakfield it was very difficult keeping my bike in my own lane. We agreed to turn around, stop for lunch in Oakfield and head home. Its just too much work and nerve-racking for me to ride my bike in that much wind.
Bummer!
