Sept 22 Kewaskum & Kettles

I knew there weren’t any takers for a ride today, so I opted to head out by myself. Too beautiful of a day not to, and sure don’t know how much longer it will stay this warm. Plus the fall foliage is starting to pop a bit, which is always a pleasure to see.

Before leaving town I made a stop out at Lakeside Park to take a photo of a maple by the pavilion which I have been enjoying during my walks out there since it has some pretty brilliant patches of color. After that, I decided to head south through Eden and Kewaskum and then back north through the Norther Kettles with a stop at The Hamburger Haus in Dundee for a burger and some ice-cream. I strolled around the Mill Park first since I have never ventured over there.

From there I decided to take Scenic Drive through the Northern Kettle Moraine. Near the end of Scenic Drive I took Spring Valley Road to Hwy 23 and then Seven Hills Road to Cty T back to town. I also stopped to fuel up when I got back to town and didn’t want to stop. So, I proceeded north on the Frontage Road around North Fondy to Van Dyne Road, Cty N west, Cty I south and Hwy 23 back home.

Just around 110 miles. Hopefully I will have time to get in more miles later this week. Fingers crossed! ;)
