May 16 Cedarburg

My friend Scott said he could ride for while with me today, but this morning he said he had too much to take care of and would have to cancel. However, he said I could pop in for a bit if I wanted to while I was out on the bike. So when I was ready to go around 11:30 I took a bit of a longer route to his place outside of Mayville and after  talking for a bit outside at his place it had become pretty sunny and warm, which prompted him to change his mind.

He wanted to see if the new Cedar Creek Motorsports building was done in Cedarburg, so that is where we headed going through Kewaskum and Newburg. Sure enough, it was completed and full of toys, and workers inside still getting it ready. One of the employees who came out while we were peeking in the windows mentioned they moved everything from the old business (next door) the night before and that the new store would be opening on Tuesday.

From there we wanted to find a pit stop with potentially ice-cream and bam, right at the intersection of NN and 60 was a place called Wayne’s that served my favorite, Cedar Crest.

I was supposed to meet a friend for dinner at 5 and it was already close to 3:30. I sent her a message to postpone until later which we did. Thankfully cause I didn’t get home until just before 6.

Today most certainly made up for yesterday. Hopefully the next time we have as nice of a day as this, I can find some takers to ride most of the day. It sure felt good!!!

Only 133 miles for me today. Miss my 200 days!
